When our customers need assistance, our support is always on hand. To reduce our environmental footprint in the process, our experts now drive electrically. We are delighted that the demand for our electric pool vehicles is so high. Bit by bit, we are in the process of replacing our current pool vehicles with electrically powered vehicles. The first step in this direction has been successfully mastered and our charging stations in the company parking lot are also always well attended.
The flood disaster in July also hit parts of our region hard. In the meantime, basic supplies have been restored and there is a better overview of the damage and the help that is now needed. The elementary school in Zweifall is one of the public facilities that have been severely damaged by the water. Among other things, the school’s IT equipment needs to be replaced. As a local technology company in the region, we have now decided to support the school’s support association in this. Therefore we donate iPads, notebooks and accessories like protective cases and charging cases for the iPads in the amount of about 25.000€.
The starting signal has just been given for this year’s presence event and special edition of the German Hotel Congress with the slogan “Courage is good!” in Berlin. Throughout the day, visitors have the opportunity to discuss current topics in the hotel industry with the industry’s thought leaders. In addition to that the latest developments and features will be presented at the Hotel InterContinental in Berlin.
We will also be there with our booth to present our digital solutions and help shape the new era in the hotel industry. Therefore, we will present our Future Network concept, which we designed for B&B HOTELS, at our booth. We presented this revolutionary concept for the first time in February at the digital edition of this year’s German Hotel Congress together with Niklas Unger, CIO Central & Northern Europe of B&B HOTELS.
We are looking forward to answering questions about this concept and to having an interesting exchange about our solutions together with the visitors.
On 01.09.2021 the new training year has started and we are happy to welcome six new trainees in our teams. This means that we now have a total of 12 trainees in their 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of training. For the first time, we have decided to train IT specialists for digital networking in addition to the long-established IT specialist training for system integration. This year, we are again offering MATSE training and training for IT systems management. As a recognized training company, we invest a lot of time and energy every year in training our junior staff. For us it is definitely worth it: Our trainees are integrated into the operational processes from day 1 and thus very quickly become professionals in their field and a valuable support for us. In the last 5 years, 18 trainees have successfully completed their training with us. The majority of our trainees are still part of the team years after their training. Last year, for example, we were able to celebrate the 10th anniversary of two former trainees. Last Friday, we invited our young talents to our showroom before they had even started their training. There our new trainees got to meet our C-level, our 4 trainers as well as our other trainees from the 2nd and 3rd year. Over delicious barbecue skewers and salads, they learned more about our company, before concluding with a tour of our building and the various departments. The start of training is much easier when you already know some of your colleagues.
There is good news for all operators of care facilities: The application for funding to expand digitalization in facilities has been extended until the end of 2023. That’s according to the Digital Modernization of Care and Nursing Act (DVGMP). Funding is available for up to 40% of expenditures to expand digital infrastructure and related training. The maximum amount of funding is a grant of €12,000. This can also be distributed over several measures. For more information on the subsidy and how it can be used, see our case study with Korian Deutschland AG. If you are interested or have any questions about this topic, please feel free to send us an email.
It was time again for a virtual event with our staff: This time we wanted to bring some action to the homes: In several quiz rounds, we played in five teams for victory. Included were multiple choice challenges, number and picture puzzles and the wheel of fortune. The whole thing was accompanied by a professional quiz master. Everyone had a lot to think about, but even more to laugh about. Well-deserved, “The New Ones” won the quiz and brought home the prize. Congratulations to Kai, Ina, Sascha and Nils! And thanks to all employees for this fun evening!

From 06.07.21 – 08.07.21, this year’s virtual Altenpflege Messe will take place and we are happy to be there! This year’s exhibition serves all areas of modern care and combines classic care topics with marketable innovations.
At our virtual exhibition stand, we will present how digitalisation can further optimise the care sector. We will show you how a stable, secure and highly available IT infrastructure and the integration of digital services can help to relieve the workload of nursing staff and create more time for the care of patients and residents.
Our healthcare experts will be on hand throughout the three days of the event to offer advice and answer your questions via live chat. To attend for free, click on this link and enter the following invitation code: U4a2c

We are proud to have B&B HOTELS as a client who continues to grow and invest in the current period. In the course of this strong growth of the hotel chain, we will now realize further projects together, which we are very much looking forward to.
This year we have already put 8 new B&B locations into operation. We have implemented a fiber optic connection in all new properties, set up the WiFi network and equipped the reception with VoIP telephony. We set up the network infrastructure in exactly the same way as we have already designed and implemented it together with B&B HOTELS for all existing properties. We are very excited about the extraordinary cooperation with B&B HOTELS and look forward to all future projects. “With m3connect, we have found a partner who puts our needs first and works out individual solutions for and with us,” says Steven Eck, Head of IT Systems and Infrastructure at B&B HOTELS, describing our joint collaboration.

From now on, charging stations in our company parking lot will ensure that our electric cars always have enough power. We have invested in 6 company-owned charging stations so that our employees can charge both our company cars and their private cars directly on site. The biggest benefits: We save time and do something good for the environment.
To set a good example, we already have 9 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in our fleet today, as well as another electric car as a pool car. We are very happy to see so many electric cars in our parking lot already. We also hope that the number will increase even further in the future due to the charging options that are now available.
